Minh the Bureaucrat

I work full-time for the U.S. government. Probably not a huge surprise, as I'm in the DC area and we're all somehow connect to good ole Uncle Sam.  Though this might conjure up imagines of a lazy Asian girl eating bags of cheetos at her desk, waddling through piles of paperwork to ineffectively do nothing - but of course that's not in my busybody style. I spent time previously in the private sector where performance mattered, output was paramount and both creativity and customer service were rewarded. Though I can't say I'm finding the same standards necessarily, I've tried to carried those habits forward despite the molasses pace at times. Rest assured, your tax dollars are well-spent with me at the wheel. Sadly, I'm not always at the wheel. But that's neither here nor there.
